Absentee Bids must be at least ½ the low estimate in our catalogue. We will begin the bidding with your bid unless another bidder in the gallery or online opens the bidding at a higher value. You will not be notified if you are unsuccessful. In the event that we receive a bid greater than your maximum bid, we will attempt to contact you prior to the auction.

If successful, you will receive a Billing and Telephone notification. Prompt Payment and pick-up of your purchases are required. You are the owner of the item from the “Fall of the Hammer” and the Auctioneer declaration of “Sold”, with all the inherent rights and responsibilities. If you wish to pay cash for your items ten payment must be made by cash or check within 2 days of the auction. Items not paid for in 2 Days will be charged against your Credit Card. i.e. Sunday Auction Charges will be made on Wednesday Moring.

Phoebus Auction Gallery offers this service as a convenience at no charge to their customers who are unable to attend the auction, and will not be held responsible for error or failure to execute bids.
